For those in the street and those brought home from it: what is verified, and nothing that is not.
What this room will hold
Rights in the street and in custody. Rights at a demonstration in France, and rights in police custody — the garde à vue — in plain language, stated from the law itself.
If arrested. The first phone calls, the right to a lawyer, and the legal-aid collectives and associations that answer — each one confirmed directly before it is listed.
For minors and parents. School-strike facts: what schools may and may not do, and what a family should know before and after a blockade.
If injured. Documenting injuries, the medical certificate, and how a complaint against police is filed — the IGPN and the Défenseur des droits, through their official doors.
In the street. What to carry, first aid for tear gas, and staying safe in a crowd.
From outside France. How to support from elsewhere: verified legal-defense donation routes, and the accounts worth following.
The standard of this room
Every section is checked against the official text — the law on Légifrance, the guidance on Service-public.fr, the complaint routes on the official pages of the IGPN and the Défenseur des droits — and carries the date it was verified. Law changes; a section whose verification ages out is pulled and re-verified rather than left standing on stale ground. The room publishes in French as well as English — for this room, the French edition is not a courtesy. It is the point.
This house's own pledge route
The destination of this label's pledge — 10 percent of the proceeds of every sale, to the legal defense of students arrested in the autumn 2026 movement — will be named on this page, verified end to end, before THE SHOP opens. If the money's road cannot be made real, the pledge is not collected on a promise, and the shop does not open. That is written here, in advance, so the house can be held to it.
